1. Purpose
UrbanBook is built for trusted local commerce, bookings, services, rentals, events, stays, property, pharmacy-related access, and business operations. This policy sets the behavior expected from customers, vendors, staff users, promoters, guests, support contacts, and anyone else using the platform.
2. Respectful Conduct
Users must treat others with respect. UrbanBook does not allow harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual harassment, intimidation, stalking, bullying, exploitation, abusive language, or repeated unwanted contact.
Users must not pressure another person to share private information, make an off-platform payment, ignore safety rules, bypass booking conditions, withdraw a complaint, or accept unfair treatment.
3. Honest Use
Users must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person or business. Users must not misrepresent identity, location, qualifications, licenses, prices, availability, product condition, service quality, ownership, authority, employment, age, or eligibility.
Customers must not place fake orders, make bad-faith bookings, submit false refund claims, or create disputes to avoid payment. Vendors must not create fake reviews, false listings, fake demand, misleading discounts, or hidden charges.
4. Legal Use
Users must not use UrbanBook to break the law, facilitate illegal activity, sell or request prohibited goods, launder money, exploit vulnerable persons, commit fraud, distribute harmful material, evade taxes, breach licensing rules, or interfere with investigations.
Users are responsible for following laws and rules that apply to their location, business, profession, activity, goods, services, and customers.
5. Platform Integrity
Users must not interfere with UrbanBook, misuse accounts, bypass access controls, scrape data without permission, overload services, manipulate search or reviews, abuse promotions, misuse referral programs, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, dashboards, listings, support records, payment flows, or private information.
Users must not encourage others to violate this policy.
6. Communications
UrbanBook communications must be used for legitimate platform activity. Users must not send spam, scams, malware, phishing attempts, private payment instructions, threats, sexual content, discriminatory content, irrelevant promotions, or misleading claims.
Where UrbanBook requires in-platform communication, users must not move the transaction outside UrbanBook to avoid fees, records, safety checks, or support processes.
7. Safety
Users must follow reasonable safety instructions, entry requirements, age restrictions, health requirements, vehicle or equipment rules, venue rules, pharmacy restrictions, and staff directions. Customers must not endanger vendors, staff, other customers, guests, or the public.
Vendors must not provide unsafe goods, services, premises, equipment, transport, medicines, activities, or instructions.
8. Enforcement
UrbanBook may remove content, issue warnings, restrict messaging, cancel transactions, withhold access, suspend accounts, pause listings, hold payouts, reject refunds, report conduct to authorities, or take other appropriate action.
UrbanBook is not required to reveal private investigation methods, risk indicators, enforcement thresholds, or the identity of reporting users where disclosure could create risk.
9. Reporting
Users should report harassment, unsafe conduct, fraud, illegal goods, misleading listings, off-platform payment pressure, suspicious messages, or policy violations through official UrbanBook support channels.
