It has been a few years since we have been here and I was not sure if it would be as good as our previous visit but it was better! Staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating! Food was outstanding. I had the Portuguese Chicken and it was super delicious. Others in our party had the strip steak, pork chop and herb chicken, everything was great, great end to a great day visiting Victoria Falls!
A new hidden gem of food, booze and more importantly people.
We were looking for something with good local vibes, food and booze and we found just that! Service all came with genuine smiles and a level of hospitality that we didn’t see at high end establishments in Zambia.
At the suggestion of our host and server, Violet, I had the fried whole river fish. It was fantastic. Fresh, perfectly seasoned, and succulent.
Owner is a great and friend local as well.
Under new ownership/management for 2 months. Lovely to see this place looking clean and spruced up. Great customer service with a personal touch. Attentive servers and watchful care by the new owner/manager. Very personable and friendly, they clued in that it was our daughter’s birthday and went out of their way to make it special.
Glad to still see a small, eclectic menu but they need time to dial in the food. I expect they’ll work out the kinks and be fantastic next time we visit.
Food was good but took two hours cause of power outages, and then the waiter put my food in front of me and took my fries I ordered. Took a little too long and was weird service
