After being left with a garden resembling the Somme by a previous contractor we engaged Spruce Garden Services to rip out what had already been done and then transform our garden and drive into our dream garden. The job took around 11 weeks and at various times we had between 1 and 11 guys on site. The outcome is just how we hoped it would be.It wasn't a straightforward job but everything we asked for was accommodated. Not everything was done perfectly, what job ever is, but whenever it was not right, then it was fixed without a problem. That to me is the measure of a good company.During the job, Sam and Willie made suggestions on how it could be improved, its the small details that make the difference between someone doing a job and someone who takes pride in their job. The Spruce team take a pride in their job. We even got some advice on planting schemes, which were out of scope.After the job, a Marshalls rep came to inspect their work showing that they are subject to independent oversight. I am pleased to say that Marshalls had no issues.I am not an easy person to please but would have no hestitation in recommending Spruce to anyone. There are too many names to mention here but our core team of Sam, Gregor and of course bossman Willie deserve a special mention. I have atrached photos of the finished job.
We eventually decided on Puzzled Monkey / Spruce Gardens Services for conducting the work in our back garden. We had seen a few people for quotes, but they say you just know and we had a good feeling from the outset when meeting with Craig the owner. Fair to say the team did a fantastic job! Particular thanks to Jason and Neil, they were both hard working, informative, knowledgeable and took real pride in the work they did. Jason being the lead was an absolute pleasure to deal with and kept us updated throughout, he really knows porcelain. Willie was also great and gave another layer of assurance. I have no concerns in highly recommending them. We now have the oasis we were after and are looking forward to enjoying it, so thanks again guys.
Spruce Garden Services came and gave our front and back gardens a really good tidy up...Craig came to see the garden first and give us a quote and made some great suggestions as to what could be done. Our garden was looking very overgrown and neglected and Micky and Flynn completely transformed everything making it look so lovely and tidy! They pruned various plants, weeded loads, cut back branches, re potted a plant, cleared all the leaves and moss and did an AMAZING job. Both Flynn and Micky worked so hard all morning, they were super friendly and very knowledgeable too. Our unkempt and untidy garden is looking so clear, tidy and loved again! They took away all the garden trimmings and gave everything a really good sweep at the end. Thank you so so much Flynn and Micky and all at Spruce Garden Services, we were so impressed by everything you did from the initial call from the office, to Craig coming to give us a quote, to Micky and Flynn doing the work and the friendly staff at the office that we spoke to too! Fab teamwork, great service and a super price too! We will definitely use you again and will certainly recommend you to our friends if they are looking for a fabbie gardening service! I have added some before and after photos! Thanks again!
We could not be happier with our experience with Spruce Gardening Services. From the initial enquiry, the actual completion job and the follow up process, they have been nothing but professional. Every member of staff we spoke to or met was lovely and made us feel totally at ease. Highly recommend ☺️
Excellent service from highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would highly recommend Spruce for all your gardening needs. We had an end of winter tidy up and have signed up for the regular maintenance package. Very happy with the service and results. 5* experience.
