Very serene, clean rooms and beddings, the bathrooms and clean too. The bar is well stocked with a small but offering good meals restaurant. Clean swimming, nice lodge to stay at away from home when in Choma. The staff is so professional too
Initially was the environment was calm and the staff very helpful. Would appeal for improvement with the smoked ribs though, otherwise everything was fine.
I've used this Lodge several times. Clean rooms with fresh beddings. Nice foods.
Need to be consistent on provision of hot bathing water. Who wants to bath cold water when the temperature is 02°C? I experienced this in this Lodge when Choma recorded that temperature around June/July 2023.
I hope they work on this. I'm already booked for 5 nights in the next 2days at the time of sharing this post. Motivated by clean affordable rooms, nice foods, isolated quiet environment and somewhat good hospitality.
We booked here twice. Both times we had booked two upgraded lodges. Both times we were told (after being promised two upgraded rooms on the phone) that they only have one available.
The second time we were here, we got yelled at by an angry cleaner while eating breakfast "Checkout time is at 10!!! You are supposed to be out by now".
Really unprofessional when reception didnt let us know.
Also the rooms were not well cleaned.
Gave them two chances, not coming back.
