Location is great, away from noise. The services are below average in terms food, the bathroom tiles are not appropriate for the bathroom floor, too slippery. Otherwise overall, it's an okay lodge.
Well located, away from the confusion of town along the Namwala Road. What I liked, clean and spacious rooms, the quietness, the fact that there is no bar is a good thing. Overall good impression. What can change, the yard is not paved, which can be a problem in the rainy season. The staff may require some training. I never had the chance to taste the food so I may not offer insights. Generally, it is a good place, I would highly recommend it. I will surely come back if life brings me to this place again. I am told they are opening the Livingstone one, the location is a bit tricky near the Roadside, Livingstone is very competitive, they need to find qualified staff to manage the front desk at least. If they keep the same standard, they have a fighting chance in Livingstone and may just give Chapa the competition they need.
They have nice budget rooms. You may need to make different arrangements for meals, I don't recommend eating the lodge restaurant, you won't get value for money.
The accommodation comes with free breakfast which I would say is not bad for the price.
